Coconut sugar is prepared by boiling the sap of the coconut palm tree bloom (Cocos nucifera) until it thickens and crystallizes. It is made up of 70% sucrose, 20% glucose, and 5% fructose. With a Glycemic Index of 35, it is slowly absorbed by the body and does not induce a “sugar rush” in diabetics.

We are dedicated to supplying high-quality organic coconut sugar to our customers. The goal is to help traditional farmers better their livelihoods by using coconut sugar products grown on their land. Every pound of coconut sugar produced on our fields is guaranteed to meet an international organic standard.

CV. Permata Satria was established in 2017, but it has marked its heritage in this industry since 1990 under the name of UD. Subriyati which was one of the pioneers introducing coconut sugar to the local market as alternatives of white sugar and traditional block coconut sugar.

For more than 28 years, UD. Subriyati has been the local producer, collector and supplier of conventional and organic coconut sugar to leading local food and beverages manufacturers in Java island region.

Later in 2017, CV. Permata Satria was built up to reach out the modern market even wider, to speak out about organic coconut sugar, the health benefit, and consistent quality at a reasonable price.

Coconut sugar is a product of Javanese heritage, it is a natural sweetener commonly serves with the morning coffee/tea, cakes and confectionary, and even used in the daily meals in Javanese tradition for hundred years ago. This explains why the production center has been based in Central Java province especially in Banyumas region (Purwokerto, Purbalingga and Cilacap district).
